Vångabacken is a ski resort in northeastern Skåne, about 26 km northeast of Kristianstad, offering alpine skiing for both beginners and more experienced skiers. The facility has three slopes, several lifts, a vertical drop of 132 meters, and the longest run is 660 meters. There is also a children’s slope, ski rental, ski school, cafeteria, and ski service. Vångabacken is run by the Vångaberget Slalom Club and is known as “Skåne’s closest alpine resort,” where families and ski enthusiasts can enjoy alpine skiing in southern Sweden
